Message From the President

March Mindfulness – Change and Adapt

After a long winter, we continue to look forward to the sights, sounds, and smells of renewal of Spring. I know we are all ready to greet Spring!
For the last 30 days or so and ongoing, we continue to face challenges and adversity during these times of turbulence and uncertainty with the ongoing evolution of the coronavirus COVID-19. Nothing is more important than the safety and welfare of your family. On behalf of the 2020 SHRM ST LOUIS Board of Directors, our wish is that you are staying informed, following recommendations and guidelines in order to be safe in your professional world, as well as taking good care of your family needs as well. Each and every one of you are in our thoughts and we hope that you are taking good care of mind, body, and spirit of yourself, family, friends, and community.
While we will need to adapt and currently change the way we bring you monthly programming for the next 30 days - or more, we will still bring you quality programs to keep you informed and continue to grow your professional development by using technology as our friend. We value your membership and will continue to fulfill our commitment to provide you with great benefit value of your membership. As time evolves, we will continue to assess and evaluate our programs and activities and adapt accordingly.

"Since fear and dread and worry cannot help in any way,
It's much healthier and happier to be cheerful every day
And if you'll only try it,
You will find without a doubt,
A cheerful attitude is something no one should be without"
