Congratulations to HRMA President-Elect Linda Pipitone!

Congratulations to Linda Pipitone, PHR, SHRM-CP for being selected as the HRMA nominee for the MO State Council of SHRM 2017 LEAD Award!
Linda is a seasoned HR leader with 20+ years of expertise. She currently works as the HR Director at Fontbonne University and serves in the volunteer leadership role of President-Elect for HRMA of Greater St. Louis. She is a trusted advisor to the Fontbonne University leadership team for HR matters and has incorporated SHRM best practices into the HR procedures, policies and improvements.

Linda has been a member of SHRM since the 90s and has been actively engaged in HRMA for over 10 years. She has remained a key contributor to our chapter, volunteering on several committees through the years and most recently serving on the Board of Directors for the last two and a half years. Linda has been instrumental in creating awareness for the HRMA of Greater St. Louis within the community by networking with HR professionals and HR students to encourage membership and discuss the benefits of SHRM. She has been a champion for the SHRM Foundation, educating members of the Foundation's purpose and encouraging donations for the advancement of the HR profession. Her efforts assisted in placing HRMA in the Top 25 Fundraising Chapters of SHRM in recent years.

Linda is an exceptional leader, offering assistance to her fellow Board Members in the areas of Diversity, Workforce Readiness, Membership and Development. Most recently, she was instrumental in establishing the SHRM Certification Prep Course for the Chapter and participated in the HR Day of Service for the United Way. She has also volunteered as a personnel committee member for the Guardian Angel Settlement Association and assisted with extensive review of their policies and handbook. Additional volunteer opportunities include her work with the Direct Client Advisory Council for TIAA-CREF and committee work for St. Louis Higher Education Recruiting Consortium.
