Would You Take a Pie to the Face?

Our organization's president, Tim Wells, is so passionate about raising funds for the national SHRM Foundation, he's willing to take a pie to the face at the end of the January meeting!
Tim has issued a challenge to the members - if 20 or more SHRM of Greater St. Louis t-shirts are sold by the end of the dinner meeting on January 23rd, Tim will allow one of the people who purchased a t-shirt to smash a whipped cream pie into his face. What a great deal - you get a really nice chapter t-shirt for only $15, dinner, and a show (not to mention the great speaker and educational opportunity)!

Beautiful blue mugs with the new SHRM of Greater St. Louis logo on them will also be available for sale at the meeting for only $5. All profits go to the SHRM Foundation, which has a mission of championing workforce and workplace transformation by providing researched-based HR solutions for challenging inclusion issues facing employees and potential employees, providing scholarships to eduate and develop HR professionals and students to make change happen, and supporting opportunities for HR professionals to make a difference in their local communities. Two of their current major initiatives are with the aging workforce and veterans.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a piece of SHRM paraphernalia for a good cause. They make great gifts, too. Look for the table selling the t-shirts and mugs before and after the meeting until the supply is exhausted. T-shirts come in small, medium, large, x-large, and 2x. Cash, checks, and debit/credit cards are accepted.

Tim is willing to take a pie to the face for this cause - let's not let him down!
