About Our Speakers
Dr. Tom Tran joined Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. in August 2015. He began his career in the Health & Wellness industry in 1995 and moved into Employee Benefits in 1999. Prior to joining the Gallagher Benefit Solutions Houston office, Tom served in senior leadership roles for health plan carriers and pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) companies.

With over 20 years working as a pharmacist in the field of employee benefits, Tom has developed extensive skills at helping employers optimize their PBM contract, pharmacy benefit plan designs, and developing and implementing clinical programs that have proven value.

In his role as Lead Pharmacy Practice Consultant, Tom's primary focus is to partner with employers to maximize their drug spend and to provde employers with their own personal pharmacist who can help them navigate through the ever changing pharmaceutical landscape. Tom's strong clinical and analytical skills and commitment to excellent customer service makes him a trusted advisor to both clients and his Gallagher team.

Tom is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. He is a registered pharmacist with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Tom resides in Dallas, TX with his wife and two sons. He enjoys tennis and spending time with his family.

Molly Beer joined the Gallagher retirement consulting team in June 2014. She has over 14 years of retirement plan experience dedicated to participant education and the development of education strategies, client relationship management, and business development.

Molly leverages her years of experience to lead the Gallagher Retirement Plan Consulting small markets team. Her primary objective is to improve outcomes and protect her clients from a workforce unprepared for retirement. She consults clients on plan design, plan governance, vendor management, fees and investments. Ms. Beer is focused on holistic retirement plan consulting.

Molly attended Vanderbilt University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Art History. Following her time at Vanderbilt, she continued her education at DePaul University's Kellstadt School of Business where she earned her Master of Business Administration in Finance.

Molly and her husband have two school aged children and two Airedale Terriers. She is actively involved within her community, including Airedale Terrier Rescue Association, and helping with her daughter's softball team. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and visiting art museums.

Courtney Schroeder has a passion for helping organizations create a healthier, more engaged workforce by exploring a holistic multidimensional approach to health and wellbeing. She believes it is important to provide opportunities to help people thrive that aren't focused on physical health alone. She meets her clients where they are and aims to fully understand their mission and culture so that she can connect the dots to help them attract and retain top talent. Courtney has a successful track record working with clients of all sizes, industries and demographics. She recognizes that every client is unique and her past experience, along with a focus on data-driven strategy, helps clients achieve goals and objectives related to their wellbeing efforts and beyond.

Prior to joining Gallagher Benefit Services, Courtney gained over twelve years of experience in the corporate wellness industry. She initially began her career on the community side with the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh at their Children's Hospital location. From there, she progressed into a Strategic Account Executive role at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Pittsburgh where she was responsible for building relationships with key clients. For the last five years, she worked at a wellness vendor beginning in a similar SAE role and most recently serving a team of Account Managers who were responsible for developing robust strategies to foster client relationships and support retention efforts.

Courtney is a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She later received her Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is often told that her energy around promoting health and wellbeing is contagious. Courtney is a Certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine and has several certifications from the Wellness Council of America.
